Home Jazz Band

"Home Jazz Band" - traditional jazz hooligans since 2011.
The soft tone of a trumpet comes through the heavy cellar door. This is a secret bar, drowned in the smoke of ladies' cigarillos, intimate conversations. On the stage, the double bass player controls the pulse of the audience with his slow strums. And the guitarist's rhythmic bridges and the intense echo of the cymbals invites you behind the purple satin curtains. Sweaty couples are letting loose on the dance floor in the depths of the bar. Suited men and red-lipped ladies twirl to the clarinetist's melodies.
These experiences don't require a time machine. No need to travel to 1920s New Orleans or 1940s New York. Traditional jazz and swing collective "Home Jazz Band" will take you on thistrip. Since 2011, the group has been breaking standards, discovering works hidden in the chests of history, bringing them to new life. The listener not only immerses himself in the whirlwind of dance, but after the concert also takes away knowledge about New Orleans street marches, vaudeville, sight seeing, big band music, and European jazz. Home Jazz Band's jazz is all kinds - authentic and sometimes punk rock, smooth as silk and sometimes rough and dirty. The most important thing is that it is real.

Rhythm Junkies

2008 - 2018

Rhythm Junkies are eight weirdos who, first of all, fell in love with Lindy Hop - a dance created during the swing era, and only then decided that it is necessary to dance to music that comes not from speakers, but from guitars, violins, accordions, trumpets, trombones and other authentic instruments that vibrate the hearts of the listeners and the floor under the feet of the dancers.

Calling themselves a street swing ensemble, when the weather gets cold, Rhythm Junkies retreats to bars, cafes and other shelters, where, having at least a small corner to stack their keys, they try to start a real sauna for the listeners and dancers who have followed them and gathered from abroad.

In the souls and hearts of Rhythm Junkies - howling, shouting, stomping and screaming, the magical 1930-1940 years in America, and until a time machine is invented, we travel there with the help of music, rhythm and dance.
